When you make an appointment with us, we want to figure out what’s causing you discomfort. That’s why our physicians use a musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound to diagnosis and treat the musculoskeletal injury or disorder. The ultrasound can determine the cause of the pain or injury right in the office. This leads to a quicker diagnosis, which means we’ll be able to get your treatment plan started right away.

With the ultrasound, we can readily identify and treat common problems, such as:

  • Bone spurs
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Hip bursitis
  • Ligament injuries
  • Muscle tears
  • Plantar fasciitis

In some cases, we might use an electrodiagnostic test. This involves triggering select nerves or muscles with electrical impulses, but it won’t cause you pain. Some common diagnoses which are addressed through this testing, include: pinched nerves, Bell’s Palsy (facial nerve), ALS, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis and other myopathies.
