Surgical Procedures at SIH
SIH is systematically resuming some surgeries and procedures that had been cancelled or delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our employees and our patients is our highest priority. We hope this information is helpful to provide guidance for seeking the care you need.
Outpatient surgeries and procedures
Certain elective outpatient surgeries and procedures have resumed. There is a backlog of procedures requiring rescheduling and we are prioritizing those in order of urgency first. If you previously had a procedure scheduled, you should receive instructions from your doctor for rescheduling.
Pre-Procedure COVID-19 Testing
All patients undergoing a procedure in an SIH facility will be required to take a COVID-19 screening prior to their procedure. Your doctor’s office will give you detailed instructions on how to get this screening completed.
