SIH St. Joseph Memorial Hospital has been a fixture in the Murphysboro community for over half a century. It is a full-service, critical access hospital. Purchased from the Sisters of the ASC Health System, SIH St. Joseph Memorial Hospital is the only SIH facility with a Catholic affiliation. The staff takes pride in the hospital's spiritual roots, which is evident in their daily approach to patient care. Employee and physician satisfaction consistently ranks in the 99th percentile. SIH St. Joseph is an integral part of the SIH system, having evolved over time to become a regional provider of specialized outpatient services. Highlights include:
- 25 bed critical access service serving the community as an inpatient facility for primary care.
- Regional Sleep Disorders Center, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
- The area's only coordinated infusion therapy program.
- Comprehensive wound care center with hyperbaric therapy.
- Outpatient geriatric counseling program.
- Outpatient endoscopic procedures.
- Active Emergency Department that is part of the Prairie STAT Heart Network.

Upon receipt of your special gift, we will send a card of appreciation to the facility and/or healthcare professional(s) you have recognized. The names of the facility and caregiver(s) will also be listed in select SIH publications. The amount of the gift is not disclosed and you may remain anonymous if you choose. Your gift will allow us to maintain state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and will provide direct patient support and services to those with the greatest need. Naming opportunities may be available.
